Once, a long time ago, I was a GOTH man …

…not the make-up, sadly brooding goth but more of the Edwardian ilk.  Ah, and I must not forget to add an strong infusion of hard edge punk and grunge aesthetic. Basically I looked like a homeless crazy person most of the time, smart but crazy.  ( People thought it was cool and I did have boyfriends though out this period…LOL.  So perhaps I see myself through a different set of lenses. )

What I loved and still love about about the “DARK” look is the heavy nod to the past..especially with Goth.  My love of all things EDWARDIAN ( except, perhaps their medical care) can come to life with in the genre, if one is very smart about it, does some research and then goes out there and OWNS IT.

The way I look at it…this is no place for the timid.

My one peace advice would be LESS IS MORE….always. 

It is certainly a matter of taste…so go ahead, PILE IT ON, if you like…but for me, not so much. I’d rather my wardrobe look like MY clothes and an extension of me rather than a bold and eye catching COSTUME. 

But again, this is all just my opinion.
